An RFID reader (radio frequency identification reader) is a device used to gather information from an RFID tag that is used to track individual objects. RFID is similar in theory to bar codes but RFID tag does not have to be scanned directly, it must be within the range of RFID reader (ranging from 3-3000 feet's) for being read. Its function is to examine RFID tags. For vehicle tracking users can instantly figure out the location of tagged vehicles with the help of RFID technology.
