i@m device has a GPS receiver that connects to 20 satellites and obtains the location on earth. This information is converted from numbers into maps via a software/map provided by i@m.

Installation generally takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on the car model. The higher the model the more time it takes for installation since wiring has to be done in a proper way.

The Tracker gets power from the battery of the Vehicle.

If someone disconnects the tracker then you will get sms alert on your registered mobile and it will get the power supply from its internal battery which can last upto 4 hours to 3 days or more.

Yes, you have to pay a monthly/ yearly amount as rental because we have to pay monthly fee for SIM Card, as GPS Trackers need to communicate with our data centre via GPRS. The monthly rent also includes the server charges, SMS Alert charges & other charges.

After the device installation we activate the device and provide you with username & password by which you can login on our website MyMap.in & track your vehicle real-time.

Yes, we store all the data for a given time period depending on your monthly rental. You can see exactly where your Vehicle was at a given point of time.

Movement report: Gives information on total distance covered, vehicle speeds along the way.By downloading the excel sheet, you can figure out when your vehicle was over speeded and what roads they took during the journeys.
Stoppage report: Get reports on total time when the vehicle was idle.
Area report: Get reports on entry/exit from marked areas.
Trip History report: Get full history of your trips.

A GPS Tracker works with satellites so it can work anywhere in the world. If the SIM card in the GPS Tracker is restricted to India then the SIM will only work in India if it’s a global roaming SIM then it can work all over the world. Note: Currently we only provide Sim card for PAN India.

Yes there is a warranty of one year on the hardware of the unit. Warranty can be extended by paying additional amount.
